Florida Highway Patrol troopers say a 23-year-old man is dead after a vehicle crash near Melrose Elementary School Wednesday morning.
Troopers say the 23-year-old was traveling westbound on State Road 26 just after 2:30 a.m.
The 23-year-old lost control of his sedan and drove off the roadway, hitting a sign and multiple trees. The sedan overturned on the westbound shoulder of State Road 26.
Troopers say the man died. State Road 26 was closed in the area but has since reopened.
