A man died in a shooting in north Tampa on Monday afternoon.
Officers were called to the 1000 block of East Poinsettia Avenue at 1 p.m.
A man was found with a gunshot wound, according to a release from Tampa police. He died from his injuries at the hospital.
TPD detectives are investigating what led up to the shooting.
