A man was shot and killed in Ruskin on Thursday.
The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office responded to a reported shooting in the 500 block of Laguna Mill Drive at around 8:30 p.m.
A man was found with a gunshot wound to his upper body. He was pronounced dead at the hospital.
The sheriff’s office did not say what led up to the shooting or if anyone was taken into custody. It was an isolated incident and there is no threat to the public, according to a HCSO news release.
