Man dies on Sunrise Boulevard likely after hit-and-run collision in Lauderhill, police say.

Police in Lauderhill are conducting a death investigation involving a body found in the street.

According to police, 911 calls came in at approximately 7:30 p.m. Wednesday regarding a man in the street along the 3500 block of Sunrise Boulevard who appeared to be injured.

Officers said the man appeared to have been struck by a vehicle, and fire rescue workers pronounced him deceased at the scene.

Traffic homicide investigators are looking into the circumstances surrounding the man’s death.
