A death investigation is underway after deputies say they found a man dead in the water at Anclote Island.
The Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene Saturday afternoon, where they found the man floating in the water next to a jet ski.
Based on evidence, officials believe he was ejected from the jet ski.
The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) and PCSO are investigating this incident, although they say there is no threat to the public.
