A man was found fatally shot Thursday night after officers responded to reports of a crash on Herlong Road, about a half-mile east of Normandy Boulevard, the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office said.
JSO said that the call came in around 9:15 p.m., and when officers got to the scene of the crash, they found a man, believed to be in his mid-30s, with gunshot wounds.
Paramedics also responded, but the man died at the scene.
