Man hospitalized after being stabbed in Fort Lauderdale: Police

A man was taken to the hospital Saturday morning after he was stabbed in Fort Lauderdale, police said.

According to Fort Lauderdale Police, at around 5:30 a.m., officers arrived at the 1100 block of G. H. M. Drive after receiving reports of a stabbing.

At the scene, officers found the man with severe puncture wounds and lacerations to his body.

The victim was given first aid by officers, and then he was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police described the suspect as a Black man who wore a blue and black shirt with jeans, had a black hat and a backpack.
