A man is recovering in the hospital after a shooting that occurred early Friday evening in Anthony.
Around 6:00 p.m., deputies with the Marion County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a shooting in the 12600 block of NE 30th Court.
When they arrived, they discovered a man who had been shot.
The victim was transported by Marion County Fire Rescue to a local hospital in critical condition.
At this time, he is in stable condition.
Deputies are working to identify the suspect and determine the events leading up to the shooting.
