A man was taken into custody after he allegedly stabbed two people in a domestic incident at a home in Fort Lauderdale early Friday, according to police.
Authorities said one of the victims, a man, had asked for help from his neighbor after he was stabbed at around 2 a.m. in the 1400 block of Southwest 32nd Court in the Edgewood neighborhood.
The man was rushed to the hospital, but the extent of his injuries was not immediately known, Fort Lauderdale Police officials said said.
“After receiving additional information on scene, officers immediately made entry into the residence and located an adult female victim,” police said in a statement.
She was taken to the hospital with injuries described as life-threatening.
The suspect was found inside the home, and police took him into custody. Officials said he is known to both victims and that the stabbing was an isolated incident.
