Man injured during shooting in Pompano Beach area where child was wounded

 A man was injured early Saturday morning during a shooting early Saturday morning in Pompano Beach.

According to the Broward Sheriff’s Office, deputies found the wounded man on the corner of Northwest 19 Avenue and Fourth Street. Pompano Beach Fire Rescue personnel also responded.

A 10-year-old boy had been shot in the same area in March. He survived.

Detectives asked anyone with information about this or other cases to call Broward County Crime Stoppers at 954-493-8477.
