A man is dead following an apparent construction accident at a southwest Miami-Dade home on Tuesday morning.
According to Miami-Dade Fire Rescue, crews responded to a report of a person “hit by mechanical equipment” at the home, located in the 32200 block of Southwest 205th Avenue, just outside of Homestead, at around 10 a.m.
Video from Sky 10 shows a yellow tarp covering the victim’s body. He was later identified as Osniel Rodriguez, 55, the owner of Vazquez Concrete Finish Corporation, as well as the home.
A Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office spokesperson said the agency’s homicide detectives were investigating.
