Officers were called around 2:25 p.m. to DeLand Municipal Airport after a skydiver suffered a hard-landing, according to the DeLand Police Department.
Police on Tuesday identified the man as Giullianno Scotti, of Brazil.
A preliminary police investigation revealed that two skydivers collided, and Scotti’s body was found in the 1600 block of Lexington Avenue.
