A man was fatally shot on Thursday morning in Belle Glade.
The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office (PBSO) said its detectives are investigating a deadly shooting that occurred early Thursday morning in Belle Glade.
PBSO said deputies responded to a ShotSpotter alert on NW 8th Street, off Avenue A, at around dawn on September 18. When they arrived, they found a man suffering from gunshot wounds. Deputies attempted life-saving measures until Palm Beach County Fire Rescue arrived, but paramedics pronounced the man dead at the scene.
PBSO said detectives from PBSO’s Violent Crimes Division have taken over the investigation. As of Thursday afternoon, the motive and suspect information remain unknown.
Authorities are urging anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-458-TIPS (8477). Tipsters can remain anonymous.
