Man on dirt bike killed after crashing into trees in Lake County

 59-year-old Sorrento man died on Sunday after crashing a dirt bike into trees in Lake County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

The man was traveling north on a dirt road in the Ocala National Forest on a KTM dirt bike around 11:10 a.m. when, according to a crash report, the man crashed into two trees before being thrown from the motorcycle.

The man was taken to Advent Health Waterman where he was pronounced dead.

The crash remains under investigation, according to the FHP.
