A man was shot in the hip after a traffic accident and is expected to be OK, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office.
Around 9:42 p.m. Friday, officers responded to the intersection of Atlantic and University boulevards regarding a man shot. The man was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
