A man sitting on the porch of a home in Jacksonville’s Mid-Westside neighborhood was shot several times on Thursday night.
The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office said the shooting happened just before 3 p.m. at a home on West 13th Street.
The man was sitting on the porch when two unknown individuals came from behind him and started shooting, according to JSO. He was hit multiple times.
The two then drove off in a black four-door sedan. JSO did not have any information on the shooters.
The man was taken to the hospital in critical condition, but he was stable.
JSO believes it was an isolated incident.
