Man stabbed in northwest Miami-Dade robbery attempt, deputies say

Deputies are investigating after they said a man was stabbed during a robbery attempt in northwest Miami-Dade on Friday afternoon.

According to the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to the 9100 block of Northwest 32nd Court after receiving reports that a man had been attacked in the area just after 1 p.m.

Investigators said the victim was approached by an unknown assailant who demanded money before stabbing him.

Miami-Dade Fire Rescue transported the man to a local hospital, where he was listed in stable condition.

Authorities said detectives with MDSO’s General Investigations Unit have taken over the case.

No arrests have been made and no further details about the victim were immediately released.
