A man was struck and killed by a Brightline train over the weekend in Lake Worth Beach, according to the Traffic Division of the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office.

Per the accident report from PBSO, on Sunday, a man later identified as G, 47, was crossing the railroad tracks of Lake Avenue, and North G Street. For unknown reasons, G walked into the path of an oncoming Brightline train and was struck by the front left side of the train.
