Man struck, killed on East Colonial Drive in Orange County

A 58-year-old Titusville man was killed Thursday night when he was struck by a vehicle in Orange County, according to Florida Highway Patrol.

The crash happened around 7:30 p.m. on East Colonial Drive near 3rd Street.

According to a crash report, the man walked in front of an oncoming Honda Pilot and was struck by the front of the vehicle. He was not in a marked crosswalk.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver and passenger of the Honda were uninjured.

An investigation is ongoing.
