A Martin County deputy killed a cyclist after hitting them with their car on Saturday.
The crash happened near Jensen Beach.
When the deputy was driving through an intersection with his sirens on, the cyclist crossed. The deputy drove into the cyclist, killing them.
The Martin County Sheriff’s Office is calling it an accident.
