MDSO: Man stabbed, run over by vehicle in northwest Miami-Dade

The Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office is investigating a stabbing and crash that occurred late Monday night in northwest Miami-Dade.

According to authorities, deputies responded to the scene of a traffic crash shortly before midnight in the area of Northwest 19th Avenue and 77th Street.

After arriving, deputies discovered that the victim had been stabbed at a nearby location before being struck by a vehicle.

Deputies said the driver remained at the scene.

Miami-Dade Fire Rescue personnel transported the victim to a local hospital. His condition has not been released.

Deputies said they did not immediately have a description of the person who stabbed the victim.
