Melbourne man found dead inside his home; homicide investigation launched.

A 32-year-old man was found dead Saturday inside his Melbourne home, prompting a homicide investigation, according to police.

Melbourne police said Kenneth Johnson was found dead in a home in the 700 block of McDermott Avenue.

According to police, officers were called to the home and found Johnson dead.

“At this time, this appears to be an isolated incident,” police said in a statement.

Detectives said anyone with information about Johnson’s death is asked to call the Melbourne Police Department at 321-608-6731. Tips can be made anonymously through Crimeline at crimeline.org or 800-423-TIPS (8477). Tips through Crimeline that lead to an arrest are eligible for reward.
