Miami-Dade deputies: Felon uses glass to stab woman in neck, face

ST, a convicted felon in Miami-Dade County, appeared in court on Wednesday after deputies accused her of stabbing a woman in May in Gladeview.

T, 42, whose long criminal record includes 13 convictions, has been in and out of prison since she was 25 years old, according to her Florida Department of Corrections’ profile.

T, whose arrest record goes back to a grand theft case when she was 18 in Aventura, was last released from prison on April 26, 2024.

On May 7, witnesses reported she wrapped her hand with a blue bag, broke a window, and used a piece of glass to stab a woman in the neck and face near Northwest 71 Street and 14 Place, according to a Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office deputy’s arrest report.

Detectives released flyers on June 4 identifying T as a suspect and arrested her shortly after 2:30 a.m. on Tuesday when she “was extremely intoxicated,” according to the deputy’s report.

Miami-Dade correctional deputies booked T at 3:25 a.m. on Tuesday at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center. She faced a charge of aggravated battery with great bodily harm for the stabbing in May.

T also faced new charges of possession of a controlled substance, resisting an officer without violence, and providing a false name or identification, records show. Her bond was $9,000.

Miami-Dade County Circuit Judge David Young is set to preside over the new cases.
