Miami man, 72, accused of pushing woman to her death facing murder charge, cops say

A Miami man accused of pushing a woman to the ground last year is facing a murder charge after she died from her injuries, police said.

K, 72, was arrested Friday on a second-degree murder charge in the death of 65-year-old Alisa Marie Toth, an arrest report said.

According to the report, the incident happened on Oct. 21, 2025 outside K’s home in the 2900 block of Southwest 30th Court.

Miami Police and Fire Rescue responded to a battery call and found Toth sitting on the sidewalk bleeding from the back of her head, the report said.

K was standing by a fence nearby. Officers asked them both what happened but the victim wasn’t able to give details, the report said.

K said the victim was standing on the sidewalk outside his home and he confronted her, telling her he didn’t want her in front of his home before he pushed her, the report said.

He said when he pushed her, she fell to the ground, causing her to hit her head on the sidewalk, the report said.

Kwas initially arrested and charged with aggravated battery.

Toth taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital and found to have a traumatic brain injury with internal bleeding.

On Nov. 1, Toth was determined to be brain dead and on Nov. 6, she was pronounced dead.

An autopsy determined her cause of death was blunt injuries to the head and manner of death ruled a homicide, the report said.

“The scene of the crime was a public sidewalk located outside of the defendant’s home,” the report said. “The iron electric sliding gate was closed, and the victim was not on the defendant’s property at the time of the assault.”

K was booked into jail and was being held without bond, records showed.
