Miami police investigated a shooting in the Liberty City neighborhood Wednesday evening.
The shooting happened just after 6:30 p.m. in the area of Northwest 15th Avenue and 70th Street.
Medics took the victim, a 39-year-old man, to Jackson Memorial Hospital. Authorities have not provided additional details about his condition.
A police spokesperson said the “investigation remains ongoing.”
Officials haven’t said whether they’ve identified a suspect or motive.
