A bus crash with injuries on Southern Boulevard in Loxahatchee backed up traffic on Thursday morning.

The Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) said that they received the report of the crash near the intersection of Southern Boulevard and B Road at 6:04 a.m.

According to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office (PBSO), the crash involved a Department of Agriculture bus carrying migrant workers.

A Lieutenant with FHP told CBS12 news that a total of three vehicles were involved, no children were involved, and some passengers were transported as a precaution.

FHP said that the crash was a train reaction where one vehicle was driving and failed to stop for the traffic ahead, resulting in the bus and another car being rear-ended.

CBS12 News was on the scene of the crash near 15475 Southern Boulevard, where the eastbound lanes were very backed up.
