A 32-year-old Milton man was killed in a motorcycle accident Saturday afternoon in Santa Rosa County.
According to Florida Highway Patrol, the crash took place on State Road 87 at Interstate 10 around 12:50 p.m.
Troopers say the motorcycle was traveling northbound on State Road 87 at a high rate of speed around traffic when a pick-up truck turned onto the roadway from I-10. The pick-up truck pulled in front of the motorcycle — resulting in a collision.
FHP says the driver of the motorcycle was flown to a local trauma center and suffered fatal injuries. The driver of the pick-up truck suffered no injuries.
Investigators say the crash is still under investigation at this time.
