Miramar police officers arrest Hialeah murder suspect

Miramar police officers arrested a 27-year-old man on Friday who was wanted for a homeless man’s recent murder in Hialeah.

According to Broward Sheriff’s Office inmate records, Mohammed Rajaie Ali was at the Broward County main jail without bond on Saturday evening in Fort Lauderdale.

Ali also had a Miami-Dade County hold on the first-degree murder charge. Detectives reported he was the man on surveillance video at the scene of the fatal shooting on July 12 in Hialeah.

The victim, Adalberto Wagner Garrido, was shot in the head near Palm Avenue and East 12 Street. He died at Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Center. He was 58.

Detectives asked anyone with information about this or other cases to call Miami-Dade County Crime Stoppers at 305-471-8477.
