Florida Highway Patrol troopers investigated a deadly crash on an Interstate 595 ramp Sunday morning.
According to FHP records, it happened on the westbound I-595 ramp to southbound Interstate 75 at around 2:15 a.m.
The wreck led to a southbound closure, those records show.
An FHP spokesperson said a 22-year-old Miramar woman driving a Honda Civic entered the ramp, then for an unknown reason, swerved and hit a guardrail and then a palm tree.
Medics pronounced the woman, whose name hasn’t been released, dead at the scene.
Troopers said the investigation remained ongoing Sunday morning.
