Missing 16-year-old girl dead after being struck by car in West Palm Beach

A 16-year-old girl who has been missing since March was found dead in West Palm Beach.

Kairi Krute, who was reported missing to police on March 27, was last seen on March 25.

When West Palm Beach police posted the information about her disappearance, the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office contacted them about a girl who was struck and killed on March 26 around 4 a.m. that they could not identify.

It was later confirmed that it was Kairi.

The deadly accident happened on westbound Southern Boulevard approaching Kirk Road as Kairi was crossing the intersection.
