A man from Mississippi is dead and a man from Miami is injured after a vehicle crash on Interstate 10 in Suwannee County Thursday night.
Florida Highway Patrol troopers say the two were traveling east on I-10 at around 9:30 p.m. when they drove off the roadway and hit a tree.
The 50-year-old driver and the 32-year-old passenger were both transported to the hospital where the passenger was pronounced dead. The driver suffered minor injuries.
FHP is investigating the cause of the crash.
