Detectives are investigating a deadly structure fire at a mobile home in Fort Pierce that killed three.
The St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office (SLCSO) stated that detectives and the St. Lucie County Fire District (SLCFD) responded to a structure fire in the 4000 block of North U.S. 1 near Mr. Mahi Mobile Detailing in Fort Pierce at around 2:30 a.m. on Wednesday.
Upon arrival, SLCFD noted that they found the mobile home 60% engulfed in flames.
Officials reported that they found three people dead inside the home, and another three people were able to escape the flames.
SLCO stated that they are still investigating, and more information is to come.
