A motorcycle accident along U.S. Highway 19 in Lake County slowed traffic on Friday morning after multiple southbound lanes were closed.
The accident took place near the intersection of U.S. Hwy 19 and Dead River Road in Tavares on Friday, January 31.
Although the exact time and details of the accident are not yet available, the incident involved at least one motorcycle and took place before 11 a.m.
Additionally, U.S. Hwy 19 was closed down to one lane for southbound traffic, while Tavares Police Officers attended to the scene.
Motorists reported a 15 minute delay in the traffic.
