Motorcycle crash in Bradford County leaves biker critically hurt, Florida Highway Patrol says

A 28-year-old motorcyclist from Keystone Heights was taken to the hospital with critical injuries after a pickup truck hit them in Bradford County Thursday morning, the Florida Highway Patrol said.

FHP said the truck and motorcycle were heading east on County Road 225 around 6:30 a.m. when the truck’s driver “failed to observe” the motorcycle passing on the left before making a left turn.

The motorcycle then crashed into the truck’s left side.

FHP added that the motorcyclist was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash and that the truck’s driver and passenger were uninjured.
