A 40-year-old Orlando man riding a motorcycle on the Turnpike lost control of the vehicle and was killed in a crash early Saturday, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The crash occurred around 2:34 a.m. as he traveled northbound, entering I-4 Express at mile marker 259 in Orlando, troopers said.
According to an FHP crash report, the man was thrown from the bike after losing control of it and landed in the northbound travel lanes. He was pronounced dead at the scene, the report states.
