Motorcyclist dies in Jackson County traffic crash

A motorcyclist has died following a traffic crash on Tuesday evening in Jackson County.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the incident happened shortly before 6:30 p.m. on U.S. 90 and Old U.S. Road.

Troopers reported that a 67-year-old Louisiana man driving a pickup truck was attempting to turn left onto U.S. 90 from Old U.S. Road.

The motorcyclist, a 38-year-old Grand Ridge man, was reported to have been traveling west on U.S. 90 when the truck turned in front of the motorcycle, causing a collision.

The Louisiana man had no reported injuries.
