Fort Walton Beach police say they are investigating after a motorcyclist was reportedly killed in a crash on Saturday.
Officers said around 5 p.m. at the intersection of Beal Parkway and Garnett Ave NE, a motorcycle and pickup truck crashed. They said the motorcyclist had been driving north on Beal Parkway, about to go through the intersection, as the pickup truck turned left off of Garnett Ave onto Beal Parkway.
Fort Walton Beach police officers said when emergency medical personnel arrived on scene, the motorcyclist, Russell Jaques of Fort Walton Beach, was pronounced dead at the scene.
