Motorcyclist killed in 2-vehicle crash on Boggy Creek Road in Orange County

 A motorcyclist was killed Monday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash in Orange County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

The fatal wreck happened around 1:45 p.m. on Boggy Creek Road at Lake Nona Boulevard near Orlando.

The FHP said preliminary evidence shows that the crash involved a 2024 KTM Duke motorcycle and a 2010 Toyota Corolla.

The motorcycle rider was taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center and was pronounced dead, the FHP said.

The Toyota driver was taken to ORMC with non-life-threatening injuries, according to troopers.

Boggy Creek Road is closed south of Lake Nona Boulevard.

Details about the crash have not been released.
