A motorcyclist was killed Thursday after colliding with a Jeep on North Dixie Highway in Boca Raton.
The Boca Raton Police Services Department’s Traffic Homicide Unit is investigating a deadly crash near the 2100 block of North Dixie Highway.
According to officers, a Yiben YB200T motorcycle was traveling northbound when it struck a 16-year-old in a Jeep Cherokee.
The Jeep was attempting a left turn out of a shopping center along N Dixie Highway, per police.
The driver of the motorcycle, 51-year-old Navin Pungoti, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The investigation is ongoing at this time. Police urge anyone with information to call (561) 544-8579.
