A motorcyclist was killed early Monday in a crash in Melbourne, according to police.
The crash happened around 5:12 a.m. in the 1800 block N. Harbor City Blvd.
According to the Melbourne Police Department, it was a single-vehicle wreck.
Someone called 911 to report the crash and that the motorcyclist was pinned underneath the motorcycle.
The rider was pronounced dead at the scene. The department did not release the rider’s name or age.
An investigation is ongoing.
