Florida Highway Patrol officials say a motorcyclist was killed in a traffic accident Saturday night.
They say the motorcyclist was a 59 year old man from Pensacola, but haven’t identified him.
FHP officials say the accident happened at the Davis Highway off ramp from Interstate 110 at 11:35 p.m.
They say the motorcycle was southbound on Interstate 110 at a high rate of speed.
FHP officials say Pensacola Police tried to conduct a traffic stop, but the cyclist fled and Pensacola Police did not pursue.
