According to Springfield Police, a motorcyclist was killed following a crash Thursday night.
It happened around 9:30 p.m. at the intersection of of Transmitter and 11th Street.
First responders closed the roadway where the accident occurred for a few hours, but the intersection has since reopened.
Officers said they would release more information Thursday morning.
