Motorist killed in crash on Interstate 4 near DeBary

A Casselberry man died early Wednesday when he was thrown from his vehicle that ran off Interstate 4 and overturned near DeBary, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

The 25-year-old Casselberry man was driving west in a Ford Ranger on I-4 when he lost control of the vehicle at 5:55 a.m. near Dirksen Drive, according to an FHP release.

The vehicle ran off the road and overturned on the shoulder ejecting the driver.

The Ford Ranger continued to roll across the westbound exit ramp at Dirksen Drive and collided with a guardrail.

The Casselberry man died at the scene. The crash remains under investigation.
