Multi-car crash blocked Florida’s Turnpike in Osceola County

 A multi-vehicle crash along Florida’s Turnpike caused traffic to shut down on Friday morning, according to the FL511.

The road is back open.

In a release, FL511 reported that the crash happened in the southbound lanes just before Exit 249 to Osceola Parkway in Osceola County.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, three vehicles were involved: a 2021 Ford F-150, a 2024 Mazda CX-5, and a 2020 Toyota Corolla.

It’s not known exactly what happened yet, except that the Ford F-150 overturned and the driver was taken to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. No one else was transported.
