Several people were injured after a serious crash occurred in the early morning hours on Sunday.
It happened in the area of the 1000 block of West Hallandale Beach Boulevard just before 3 a.m.
According to authorities, five people were injured in the crash, with two of them suffering serious injuries that required hospital treatment.
Three damaged vehicles were eventually hauled away from the scene in the hours that followed.
Officials have not released any official information regarding what led up to the crash or if any charges could be forthcoming.
Investigators spent several hours working the scene before the roadway completely reopened around 7 a.m.
