Multiple individuals charged after stabbing incident in Panama City

The Panama City Police Department has arrested multiple individuals after a violent altercation on Oak Hammock Drive.

On October 28, a PCPD officer was on routine patrol in the 2700 block of Oak Hammock Drive when they noticed a physical altercation among a group of individuals.

Officials said moments later they were notified by a local hospital that a person was receiving medical treatment for several stab wounds.

PCPD said members of the Investigative Services Section responded to the scene on Oak Hammond Drive. They found that Dazhon Parker, 31, Sebastian Morris, 22, and Tristen Pocelli, 26, all of Panama City were involved in an altercation.

During the altercation, Nicholas Johnson, 32, of Panama City, inflicted multiple stab wounds upon the victim, PCPD said.

Johnson was then seen fleeing in a white passenger vehicle driven by Demarius Mimms, 28, who later gave false information to authorities regarding his involvement in the case.

On October 29, Mimms and Johnson were apprehended by members of the United States Marshals Service Florida Caribbean Regional Taskforce.

Sebastian Morris and Tristen Pocelli were both charged with Affray. Nicholas Johnson was charged with Attempted Murder and Demarius Mimms was charged with Principal to Attempted Murder & Violation of Probation.
