A freight train slammed into the rear of an unoccupied vehicle stopped on the tracks in downtown West Palm Beach on Saturday night.
The West Palm Beach Police Department said that the collison occured on Dec. 27 on the tracks near Clematis Street and Quadrille Boulevard at around 8:30 p.m.
Police said the freight train hit the back of the unoccupied vehicle; luckily, no injuries were reported, and investigators are still determining why the vehicle was on the tracks.
