New York man accused of attacking victim with brick during domestic dispute in Key Largo

A 26-year-old man from Bohemia, New York, was arrested Thursday night in Key Largo after authorities say he hit another man with a brick during a domestic dispute.

BTG is facing one count each of aggravated assault, aggravated battery and criminal mischief, according to the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office.

MCSO deputies said they responded to a residence on Ruby Drive around 9:30 p.m. after receiving a call about a disturbance.

The victim told deputies that G struck him with a brick during an argument related to G’s alleged alcohol use, according to investigators.

G also shattered a glass door with the brick, deputies said.

They said victim’s injuries were not life-threatening. Investigators did not disclose the relationship between G and the victim.

G is set to be arraigned at 9 a.m. on July 29. His bond information wasn’t immediately available.
