A 74-year-old Niceville woman died Friday afternoon after being struck by a car that drifted into a pedestrian lane, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
FHP reported an 86-year-old Niceville woman was driving a sedan northbound on Bluewater Boulevard when her vehicle entered the pedestrian lane near Caribbean Way. The car then struck the 74-year-old pedestrian, who was walking northbound.
The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver was not injured.
