A roof partially collapsed at a warehouse during a fire in Kissimmee on Saturday afternoon, according to a news release.
Officials said they responded to the fire on Michigan Avenue around 3:20 p.m.
According to the release, when firefighters arrived, they found heavy fire and smoke coming from the west side of the building.
“Due to the size and intensity of the fire, crews moved into a defensive operation, and a second alarm was called,” the release said in part.
Officials said part of the warehouse’s roof collapsed during the fire.
According to the release, crews were able to bring the fire under control and fully extinguish it.
No injuries were reported to firefighters or civilians, officials said.
Fire officials also stated that “during the course of the incident, we were not made aware of any toxic or hazardous materials. As a precaution, we proactively contacted the Florida Department of Environmental Protection.”
